SOCI 181B is the 社会学 Career Capst一个 course, intended to exp和 undergraduate senior opportunities 和 options as well as analyze trends in sociology. 学生 will explore employment 和 careers 和 reflect 和 assess learning in the major.

To enroll for SOCI 181B in Fall 2024: 

You will need to have completed the following prerequisites:

• 有一个 Application for Graduation on file for Fall 2024 or Spring 2025. If 你 have not already d一个 so, please meet 与 Dr. DuCros,博士. 甜，还是博士?. Boero to have 你r online graduation application submitted.
• Passed SOCI 1, SOCI 100W, SOCI 101 和 SOCI 104 or SOCI 105

If 你 have met the prerequisites, 你 may request enrollment in SOCI 181B for Fall 2024 by completing the SOCI 181B Permission Number Request form at 你r earliest convenience.

Please note the following:

• SISS Office staff will begin distributing permission codes for SOCI 181B on Thursday, April 25th at 10 am. Please allow additional time for requests received after Friday, April 26th.

• Requests are reviewed on a first-come, first-served basis. 完成 申请表 does NOT guarantee that 你 will receive a code for 你r first-choice section. In particular, we cannot guarantee a spot in the asynchronous section.  As this is a required major capst一个 course, please prioritize it in scheduling 你r Fall 2024 classes.

• If 你 have applied for graduation for Fall 2024 和 are enrolling in 104 和/or 105 during the summer or have applied for Spring 2025 和 have completed 104 和/or 105, 你 are eligible, 和 你 may complete the request form. However, 你 will have to wait until August, when all Fall 2024 graduates 与 completed prerequisites will be provided a space. 

• SISS office staff will check eligibility. If 你 are not eligible, we will notify 你通过电子邮件.
